Through the generous support of funders and donors, over $150,000 was raised from 2021 to 2023 to support technical assistance and facility structural improvements. The Preservation Trust of Vermont, State of Vermont Division of Historic Preservation, USDA, Vermont Housing Conservation Board, Town of Barnet ARPA Funding, and many generous community members have supported the McIndoes Academy project to date. In 2023, we will launch a fundraising campaign to raise funds to restore and revive the historic Academy building. The daunting task of raising funds and overseeing a major renovation is no small undertaking. Still, with the help and support of community members, Academy graduates, grantors, and foundations, we believe the vision of creating a beautiful facility for our community will become a reality.Community engagement and assistance is needed to bring the McIndoes Academy Community Center project to fruition. Through the work of many, we will create a vibrant and engaging community center in the heart of McIndoes Falls.

There are many ways to become involved in the project. From joining the Friends of the Academy committee to becoming a supporting member, there are opportunities for everyone to be a part of this exciting project!
